Captain Mike Wolf is originally from Bluffton, Indiana and is a graduate of Norwell Highschool. He enlisted later in life after a short career in the motorcycle industry. In 2011 he enlisted as an Army aviation hydraulics specialist (15H) and was sent to Fort Drum, New York for his first assignment. There he pursued his associates degree and later applied for and won, the Green to Gold “hip pocket” scholarship in 2013.
After Fort Drum he attended Northern Illinois University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science in Industrial Management in Engineering Technology. He then commissioned in May 2016 as a Second Lieutenant in the Quarter Master Corps.
CPT Wolf attended the Quarter Master Corps Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Lee, Virginia.
Upon graduation of BOLC, CPT Wolf was assigned to the 548th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division from 2016-2020. There he served as an SSA Platoon Leader, Accountable Officer, and Company Executive Officer with the 543rd Composite Supply Company.
CPT Wolf was sent back to Fort Lee where he graduated from the Logistics Captain’s Career Course in August 2020. He was then assigned to the United States Army Recruiting Command, Minneapolis Battalion, and served as the Commander of the Des Moines Recruiting Company from September of 2020-2022.
He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Indiana University and resides in the Plainfield area with his wife and two sons.
